Technology and empathyKimetec Smarla
With Smarla, we designed a breast pump for mamivac that unites technology and empathy. Our design approach combines functionality, comfort and aesthetics in a product that noticeably eases the everyday life of breastfeeding mothers.
The strategy
Soft shapes meet technical precision, hygiene meets durability. The intuitive operating concept, ergonomic details and flexible use make Smarla the ideal companion in clinical and home settings. Digital features such as stimulation phases, personal settings and an integrated diary add valuable support to the analog experience in young mothers’ everyday lives.
Smarla stands for a design that makes care visible: functional, sensitive and forward-looking.
