The website is largely compliant with the requirements of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) in conjunction with the German Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (BITV 2.0).

Measures to ensure accessibility

To continuously improve the accessibility of our website, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Contact form: Clear labeling of all input fields, understandable error messages, and full keyboard accessibility.

  • Design & structure: Clear heading hierarchy, sufficient color contrast, scalable font sizes, and alternative text for images, graphics, and videos.

  • Navigation: Clear menu structure and consistent interaction logic.

  • Responsive design: Adequate size and spacing of interactive elements, especially on mobile devices.

  • Online appointment booking: Adjusted calendar and selection elements for screen readers, provision of help texts, and alternative booking options (e.g., by phone).

  • PDF documents: Gradual conversion to accessible PDF files.


Non-accessible content

The following content is currently not, or only partially, accessible:

  • In some cases, button and link names are not clearly specified.

  • Some interactive elements do not yet have clear labels.

  • Contrast ratios in the menu are not yet fully adjusted.

  • Subtitles and transcripts for videos are partly missing.

  • Pause and volume controls for audio content are not yet available.

  • Full operability without a mouse is still in progress.

  • Some PDF documents are not accessible.

We are working on gradually removing these barriers.
